Membership Categories

We have two types of membership currently. One is the BASIC membership, and another is the LIFETIME membership.

Both memberships are non-transferable. The BASIC membership offers you access to the various activities and initiatives organised by BKS. It also gives you access to the member networks as well as work opportunities offered to the BKS members from time to time. It also gives you access to all the current and upcoming features and benefits that the BKS website offers to its registered members. BASIC membership is also eligible for a work permit card as well as access to legal aid.

The LIFETIME membership offers all that the BASIC membership offers, plus the voting rights and healthcare scheme benefits.

You can pay ₹ 1200 for the BASIC membership, and you can renew it annually. Plus ₹ 250 for the physical membership card.

Towards the LIFETIME membership, you have to pay ₹ 18000 as a one-time fee divided into 3 years (₹ 6000/year). Thereafter, from the 4th year onwards, you have to pay ₹ 1200 annual charges plus ₹ 800 for the welfare fund.

** One can convert their BASIC membership to a LIFETIME membership any time they wish to, and their ₹ 1200 annual charges will be adjusted after paying ₹ 6000 per year for 3 years and during the first year of confirmation as a LIFETIME member. Effectively, you need to pay only the welfare fund that year.

Once you have received the confirmation email with the provisional membership ID, kindly send us an email at bksmemberships@gmail.com quoting your provisional membership ID and proof of payment.

Also send copies of the ones given below.

• Current Address Proof (Xerox copy of any one of these: electricity bill/Aadhaar card/passport/leave & license/PG agreement/voter’s ID)
• Permanent Address Proof (Xerox copy of any one of these: electricity bill/Aadhaar card/passport/voter’s ID)
• ID Proof (Xerox copy of any one of these: PAN card/passport/Aadhaar card)
• Two (2) passport-size photos

2. DOWNLOAD THE (PDF) FORM.

Take a printout of the form. Fill out the form and sign as per the instructions given. Make payment as per your mode of choice.

Thereafter, email the scanned copy of the form along with the required documents and proof of payment made to bksmemberships@gmail.com . Your membership ID will be generated after we receive your email and your application has been accepted.
